Given equation of the wave is $\mathrm{y}=0.5\sin \left(\frac{2\pi }{\lambda }400\mathrm{t}-\frac{2\pi }{\lambda }\mathrm{x}\right)$

Comparing it with the standard equation of motion $y=A\sin \left(\omega t-kx\right)$ we get,

$\omega =\frac{2\pi }{\lambda }400$ and $k=\frac{2\pi }{\lambda }$

Now the velocity of the wave will be,

$$\begin{gathered} v=\frac{\omega }{k} \\ \Rightarrow v=400 \mathrm{m} {\mathrm{s}}^{-1} \end{gathered}$$
