Given equation is$\frac{{\mathit{\text{d}}}^2\text{x}}{\mathit{\text{d}}{t}^2}+\alpha \text{x}=0$

$\therefore$${\omega }^2=\alpha$

or$\omega =\sqrt{\alpha }$

$\therefore$$\mathit{\text{T}}=\frac{2\pi }{\omega }=\frac{2\pi }{\sqrt{\alpha }}$.
