Solution:

$ϕ = \frac{2 π}{λ} \times ∆ x$

$= \frac{2 π}{λ} \times \frac{λ}{4} = \frac{π}{2}$

$I = I_{1} + I_{2} + 2 \sqrt{I_{1} I_{2}} \cos ϕ$

$= 9 I_{0} + 4 I_{0} = 13 I_{0}$
