For each inclined rod, resolving along the axis and applying the parallel-axis theorem gives $19 m L^{2} /24$ .

Thus $I = \frac{1}{6} m L^{2} + 2 \times \frac{19}{24} m L^{2} = \frac{7}{4} m L^{2}$ .
