So for (2) ${\mathrm{T}}_2-\mathrm{mg}=\mathrm{ma}$

$20-10=1\times \mathrm{a}$

$\mathrm{a}=10\mathrm{m}/{\mathrm{s}}^2$

${\mathrm{T}}_1=2{\mathrm{T}}_2=40\mathrm{N}$

So for (1) ${\mathrm{T}}_{\neg }-\mathrm{mg}=\mathrm{ma}$ $40-10=1\times \mathrm{a}$ $\mathrm{a}=30\mathrm{m}/{\mathrm{s}}^2$

End of rope is coming down with $5\mathrm{m}/{\mathrm{s}}^2$

So acceleration of (1) w.r.t. his rope is $30+5=35\mathrm{m}/{\mathrm{s}}^2$ upwards.

Acceleration of monkey (2) with respect to his rope is zero because he is just holding the string.
