In the given circuit, the current flowing through the resistance 20 Ω is 0.3 A, while the ammeter reads 0.9 A. The value of R1 is _____Ω.

Question diagram: In the given circuit, the current flowing through the resist
Answer:
30.00
Solution:

Given, i1=0.3 A, i1+i2+i3=0.9 A

So, VAB=i1×20 Ω=0.3×20 V=6 V

i2=6 V15Ω=25 A

Now,

i1+i2+i3=910 A

310+25+i3=910

710+i3=910

i3=0.2 A

So, i3×R1=6 V

(0.2)R1=6

R1=60.2=30 Ω
