${\mathrm{PbO}}_2+{\mathrm{SO}}_2⟶{\mathrm{PbSO}}_4$

${\mathrm{PbO}}_8$ oxidizes ${\mathrm{SO}}_2$ to ${\mathrm{SO}}_3$, itself converting into the PbO . This is redox reaction. The PbO combine with ${\mathrm{SO}}_3$ because PbO is basic and ${\mathrm{SO}}_3$ is acidic forming salt ${\mathrm{PbSO}}_4$. So it is acid-base neutralization reaction also ${\mathrm{PbSO}}_4$ is formed by the addition of PbO and ${\mathrm{SO}}_3$. It is also addition reaction. ${\mathrm{PbSO}}_4$ is insoluble in water but dissolves in ammonium acetate due to formation of soluble lead acetate.
