$\frac{dx _{1}}{dx _{2}} = \frac{32}{2}$

$\frac{dx _{1}}{dx _{2}} = 4 \Rightarrow \frac{distance travelled by H _{2}}{distance travelled by O _{2}} = 4$

$\frac{x}{( 5 - x )} = 4; x = (5 - x) 4$

$x = 20 - 4 x; 5 x = 20$

$x = 4$ from $H_{2}$ side
