In Bangalore, a plastic sac manufacturer (Ahmed Khan) found solution to accumulating plastic waste. They form Polyblend, which is a fine powder of modified plastic waste. This polyblend is used to lay roads along with bitumen and due to this water repellent property of bitumen is increased by about three times. Water repellent property of bitumen was proved by Ahmed Khan in collaboration with R. V. College of Engineering and Bangalore City Corporation.
