Options:

Answer:
C
Solution:

This condition results from deficiency of protein Dystrophin in the muscle fibres. This is a cohesive protein present in the myofibril. It is present covering the sarcolemma and is attached to the actin protein. Deficiency of this will weaken the attachment and thus contraction and relaxation of myofibril will be affected. It is predicted that certain genes are necessary for formation of this protein and thus this condition is a genetic disorder.
