Solution:
Vagina is a tubular copulatory organ in female, and acts as a birth canal. It also acts as the passageway for menstrual flow between the cervix and the external opening (vaginal orifice). A vaginal wall is made of an internal mucosa, muscular layer, and an outer adventitia. Its mucous membrane is the non-keratinized stratified squamous epithelium. Glands are absent. However, cervical glands do pass on some mucus into it during ovulation. The vaginal orifice is partially covered by an annular centrally perforate membrane called the hymen.
