Options:

Answer:
A
Solution:

Some important stages of human evolution:

Australopithecines(Prior to genusHomo): Few fossils of man-like bones were discovered in eastern Africa (Ethiopia and Tanzania) which strengthens the belief that man-like primates (Height < 4 feet but walked upright) walked in eastern Africa about 3-4 mya. Lived in East African grasslands. These used stone weapons for hunting but also ate fruits.

Homo habilis(2 mya): First human-like being: the hominid. Cranial capacity: 650-800cc. These probably did not eat meat. They are commonly called a toolmaker.

Homo erectus (1.5 mya): Fossils discovered in Java in 1891. Cranial capacity: 900cc (large brain). These probably ate meat.

Neanderthal man (1,00,000-40,000 years back): Lived near east and central Asia. Cranial capacity: 1400cc. These people used hides to protect their bodies and buried their dead.

Homo sapiens: Homo sapiensarose in Africa during ice age between 75,000-10,000 years ago and moved to different continents and developed into various races.
