Options:

Answer:
C
Solution:

Gluconeogenesis is synthesis of Glucose from non- carbohydrate source like fats, proteins etc. This is a hormonal-mediated process. It occurs in liver mainly and in kidney too. Many hormones like glucagon, growth hormone and corticosterone have stimulatory effect while insulin has inhibitory effect on it. Vasopressin is released by posterior pituitary and its main function is maintaining the water and salt balance and thus it has no role on synthesis of glucose.
