Answer:

Solution:

Transport of oxygen from the atmosphere to tissues and transport of carbon dioxide from tissues to the atmosphere is known as the exchange of gases. This occurs due to the partial pressure of gases, Boyle's law and due to this gases flow from high to low pressure. Partial pressure is pressure of one gas exerted in mixture of gases. Boyles's law (Pressure is inversely proportional to Volume when temperature is constant), is responsible for flow of gases. Oxygen enters the body from atmosphere and the partial pressure is 159mmHg.
