Failure in conducting system

Solution:
Blood pressure is the lateral force exerted by the volume of blood on the walls of the blood vessels. The blood pressure is high in the arterial circulation than venous. Normal ideal blood pressure in humans is 120/80 mmHg. When this pressure increases it signifies that the force exerted on the vessel walls is higher than usual and also the heart is pumping blood with much higher force than normal. This abnormal pressure if continued for a long duration will eventually lead to damage to the layers of the arterial walls which lose their elastic property and become hardened, the blood vessels of the kidney (Renal artery) being the most commonly affected. Also, high pressure can lead to the rupture of delicate vessels in the brain leading to brain hemorrhage. This continuous overwork of pumping blood with more pressure will lead to diseases of the heart too. The conducting system is not dependent on the circulation but instead dependent on the electrical circuit of the heart which is not affected by the raised blood pressure.
