Which of the following combination of parents can produce a child with erythroblastosis fetalis?

Options:

Answer:
A
Solution:

Erythroblastosis fetalis occurs due to Rh incompatibility. It occurs in the second and subsequent Rh+ve foetus in an Rh-ve mother. Rh factor is produced on our RBCs by a dominant gene 'R'. Hence, the genotype of Rh-ve mother is 'rr'. To have a baby which is Rh+ve, the father has to be Rh+ve with genotype 'RR' or 'Rr'.
