Options:

Answer:
D
Solution:

Endocrine glands are ductless glands as these glands pour their secretions i.e. hormones directly into the blood. Examples are pituitary gland, thyroid gland, parathyroid gland, adrenal gland, etc. Some glands are heterocrine glands as they have endocrine and exocrine cells both. Examples are gonads and pancreas. Hormones are secreted by cells of endocrine glands. Example, para- follicular cells or C cells of thyroid secrete Calcitonin. Similarly, Leydig cells of testes secrete testosterone hormones and Lutein cells of Corpus luteum (this is formed after the rupture of mature ovarian follicle) secretes progesterone.

Kupffer cells are the macrophages found in sinusoid of the liver.
