What will be the force acting on a particle moving along a circle of radiusR, if its kinetic energykdepends on the distance covered ask=as2?

Options:

Answer:
B
Solution:

Given,12mv2=as2

⇒    v=s2am

∴   aR=v2R=2as2mR.... (i)

at=dvdt=dvds.dsdt=vdvds.... (ii)

From equation (i)

at=s2am2am=2asm..... (iii)

So, net accelerations=aR2+at2

=  2as2mR2+2asm2

Hence,a0=  2asm1+sR2

∴    F=ma0=2as1+sR2
