$∴ W = U_{2} - U_{1}$

$= \frac{1}{2} k x_{2}^{2} - [\frac{1}{2} k x_{1}^{2} + m g h]$

$= \frac{1}{2} k (x_{2}^{2} - x_{1}^{2}) - m g h$

$= \frac{1}{2} \times 100 \times (3^{2} - 1^{2}) - 10 \times 10 \times 2 = 200 J$
