Wnet= Kf-Ki=ΔK

Kinetic energyK=12mv2

Velocityv2=vx2+vy2

=( 36+4 ) m 2 /s 2

Kf=12×3×40=60 J

Again, velocityv=82+42

v=64+16=80  m/s

Kinetic energyKf=123×80  m 2 /s 2 =120 J

From work energy theorem

Wnet= Kf-Ki

=120 J-60 J=60 J
