$\frac{1}{λ_{2}} = R (\frac{1}{1^{2}} - \frac{1}{2^{2}}) = \frac{3 R}{4}$ ....(2)

$\frac{λ_{1}}{λ_{2}} = \frac{3 R}{4} \times \frac{9}{8 R} = \frac{27}{32}$
