At A the fields of the two wires point in opposite directions, so $B = \frac{μ _{0} I}{2 π} (\frac{1}{0.20} - \frac{1}{0.40})$ .

$B = 2 \times 1 0^{- 7} \times 5.6 \times (5 - 2.5) = 28 \times 1 0^{- 7}$ T.

Hence $x = 28$ .
