$v^{2} = 2 \frac{GM}{R} [1 - \frac{1}{2}]$

$v^{2} = \frac{GM}{R}$

$But {gR}^{2} = GM$

$∴ v = \sqrt{\frac{{gR}^{2}}{R}}$

$v = \sqrt{gR}$
