Using Snell’s law for the refraction at $\mathrm{AC}$, we get

 $\mathrm{\mu }\mathrm{sini}=\left(1\right)\mathrm{sinr}$

 $\sqrt{2}\sin 30°=\mathrm{sinr}$

 $\mathrm{sinr}=\frac{1}{\sqrt{2}}$

 $\Rightarrow \mathrm{r}=45°$

 $\therefore$    Angle of deviation  $=45°-30°=15°$
