for convex lense,

$\frac{1}{V} + \frac{1}{20} = \frac{1}{5}$

$\frac{1}{V} = \frac{1}{5} - \frac{1}{20} = \frac{4 - 1}{20}$

$V_{1} = \frac{20}{3}$ cm

for concave lense,

Distance of first image from $B = \frac{20}{3} - 2 = \frac{14}{3} c m$

$\frac{1}{V} - \frac{3}{14} = - \frac{1}{5} = \frac{15 - 14}{70} = \frac{1}{70}$

Real image $70 c m$ right of $B$ .
