$\Rightarrow a_{2} = π {(\frac{d_{2}}{2})}^{2}$

Where $d_{1} a n d d_{2}$ are the diameters of the openings.

$\Rightarrow \frac{v_{1}}{v_{2}} = \frac{(\frac{π d_{2}^{2}}{4})}{(\frac{π d_{1}^{2}}{4})} = \frac{d_{2}^{2}}{d_{1}^{2}} = {(\frac{10 c m}{5 c m})}^{2}$
