We know that after long time an inductor offers zero resistance i.e., in steady state condition.

Here all three identical resistors are in parallel, so equivalent resistance is, $R_{e q} = \frac{12}{3} = 4Ω$

Now, current through the battery is $I = \frac{12}{4} = 3 A$
