Given: $\frac{\mathrm{x}-2}{2}=\frac{\mathrm{y}}{-2}=\frac{\mathrm{z}-7}{16}$ and $\frac{\mathrm{x}+3}{4}=\frac{\mathrm{y}+2}{3}=\frac{\mathrm{z}+2}{1}$

$\Rightarrow \frac{\mathrm{x}-2}{1}=\frac{\mathrm{y}}{-1}=\frac{\mathrm{z}-7}{8}=\mathrm{\lambda } \left(\text{let}\right)$ and $\frac{\mathrm{x}+3}{4}=\frac{\mathrm{y}+2}{3}=\frac{\mathrm{z}+2}{1}=\mathrm{k} \left(\text{let}\right)$

$\Rightarrow \mathrm{x}=\mathrm{\lambda }+2=4\mathrm{k}-3, \mathrm{y}=-\mathrm{\lambda }=3\mathrm{k}-2$ and $\mathrm{z}=8\mathrm{\lambda }+7=\mathrm{k}-2$

$\Rightarrow \mathrm{\lambda }=-5+4\mathrm{k}, \mathrm{\lambda }=-3\mathrm{k}+2, 8\mathrm{\lambda }-\mathrm{k}=-9$

$\Rightarrow -5+4\mathrm{k}=-3\mathrm{k}+2$

$\Rightarrow 7\mathrm{k}=7$

$\Rightarrow \mathrm{k}=1, \mathrm{\lambda }=-3\left(1\right)+2=-1$

$\Rightarrow \mathrm{x}=1, \mathrm{y}=1, \mathrm{z}=-1$

$\Rightarrow \mathrm{P}\equiv (1,1,-1)$

Projection of  $\mathrm{PQ}\equiv 2\hat{\mathrm{i}}-2\hat{\mathrm{k}}$ on $\mathrm{QR}$ line with direction ratio $2\hat{\mathrm{i}}+3\hat{\mathrm{j}}+\hat{\mathrm{k}}$ is given by, 

$\mathrm{QR}=\frac{4-2}{\sqrt{4+9+1}}=\frac{2}{\sqrt{14}}$

Now, in triangle $\mathrm{PQR}$ we get,

$\therefore l^2=8-\frac{4}{14}=\frac{108}{14}$

$\Rightarrow 14l^2=108$
