Solution:

Given fx=c+1x2+1-c2x+2k     i

fx+y=fx+fy-xy  xyR

So f'x=2c+1x+1-c2

Now limy0fx+y-fxy=limy0fy-xyy=limy0fyy-x

f'x=f'0-x

Integrating, we get

fx=-x22+f'0x+λ but f0=0λ=0

i.e. fx=-x22+1-c2x     ii

  as f'0=1-c2

Now comparing equation i and ii, we get

c=-32

 fx=-12x2-54x

Now 2x=120fx=x=120x2+52·x=120x=2021416+5220212

=2870+525

=3395
