Now, fgx=2g2x+1

=22x-32+1;x<022x+32+1;x0

If x<0 then -1<x<0-2<x<0

-5<2x-3<-39<2x-32<25

18<22x-32<50, So there will be 31 values where 22x-32 is integer, Similarly for 22x+32 there will be 31, so total 62 points of discontinuity
