The area of the polygon, whose vertices are the non-real roots of the equationz¯=iz2is

Options:

Answer:
B
Solution:

z¯=iz2x-iy=ix+iy2

 x-iy=x2-y2i-2xy

i.e., x=-2xy and -y=x2-y2

 x=0,y=-12

When x=0y=0,1

When y=-12x=±32

0,0 will be rejected as vertices would be non-real roots.

So, the vertices will be 0,1, 32,-12 and -32,--12

Hence, area of =12×3×32=334
