solution produce white ppt. with :-
Options:(select one or more)
Answer:
B, C
Solution:
Sodium hydrogen phosphate (Na₂HPO₄) contains phosphate species which form insoluble metal phosphates (white precipitates) with certain metal ions. Al³⁺ (from AlCl₃) and Zn²⁺ (from ZnSO₄) form white insoluble phosphates like AlPO₄ and Zn₃(PO₄)₂. These are characteristic white precipitates used for identification of phosphate ion. AgNO₃ gives yellow Ag₃PO₄, while Mn²⁺ does not form a white precipitate.
