When benzyl bromide is treated with AgCN, it forms benzyl isocyanide. This reaction is followed by the SN2 mechanism.

Benzylamine on heating with chloroform and ethanolic potassium hydroxide forms Benzyl isocyanides.  This reaction is known as carbylamine reaction or isocyanide test.

2° amine does not give carbylamine reaction.

 So, the correct option is C.
