Find the total number of compound( ), which is/are repelled by magnetic field

Answer:
4
Solution:

A substance is repelled by magnetic field if it is diamagnetic (all electrons paired).
KO₂ and [O₂]+[PtF6] are paramagnetic due to unpaired electrons in O₂⁻ and O₂+ respectively.
KCN, Na₂C₂, NO[BF₄] contain only paired electrons, hence are diamagnetic.
K₂O₂ also has peroxide ion (O₂²⁻) with all paired electrons.
