The movement of solvent molecules from a less concentrated solution to high concentrated solution is called osmosis. When grapes immersed in normal water then they will swell up due to the endosmosis because less amount of water is present in the grapes so water will diffuse from the surrounding to the grapes but if grapes immerse in water that contains a good amount of salts cause shrinks due to the exosmosis.
