Which of the following conditions are the most favourable for cyclic photophosphorylation?

Options:

Answer:
D
Solution:

Cyclic photophosphorylation is a process which does not involve oxygen and the electrons are passed from P700 to PS-I and again back to P700 via the electron transport chain. The inorganic compounds act as the source of energy with the formation of ATP no release of oxygen taking place. The chlorophyll captures the sunlight and converts it to energy in form of ATP and NADPH which is then stored in it and used in the further process of photophosphorylation. Therefore the cyclic photophosphorylation requires anaerobic conditions with low light.
