Options:

Answer:
D
Solution:

Global warming is the warming/ heating up of the earth's atmosphere due to depletion of 'ozone' in the stratosphere. Major pollutants responsible for this depletion are chlorofluoro carbons (CFCs), nitrogen oxides and hydrocarbons.

CFCsare widely used as coolants in air conditioners and refrigerators, cleaning solvents, aerosol propellants and in foam insulation. It is also used in fire extinguishing equipments. On escaping to the stratosphere, it cause depletion or thinning of protective ozone layer. It results in direct and indirect harmful effects leading to temperature changes and rainfall failures on earth.

So, decreasing the use of air conditioners, jet planes, green house gases, etc, or developing the substitutes forCFCscan be able to reduce global warming.
