How do custom tests work step by step?
Open Custom Practice, pick one or more subjects and topics, set duration (30–90 min presets or custom) and question count (5–30+), choose Easy / Medium / Hard and question types, then create the test. It appears under My tests so you can start, resume, or reattempt anytime.
How many free custom tests can I create?
Unsubscribed users can create 5 custom practice tests. A Test Series enrollment unlocks unlimited custom practice along with the rest of the preparation ecosystem.
Can I practise only one weak chapter?
Yes. Filter down to a single subject and topic (for example Physics → Rotational Motion) so the test focuses on that chapter. You can also multi-select topics when you want a mixed drill.
Is random selection always on?
Random selection is on by default so each new test with the same filters pulls a fresh set of questions. That keeps practice from turning into memorising one fixed paper.
How is Custom Practice different from a free mock?
Free mocks are full-length, exam-pattern papers. Custom Practice builds shorter, filter-driven tests for targeted revision — ideal after Analytics or Prep Companion flags a weak chapter.
